The first round of performers for this year’s Billboard Music Awards have been announced.
Drake and Ed Sheeran, both of whom have been dominating the charts in recent months, have been confirmed to perform on the night. Joining them will be the likes of Bruno Mars, Lorde, Celine Dion and Nicki Minaj. Also on the line up are Imagine Dragons, John Legend, Florida Georgia Line and Camila Cabello.
The news was announced via the official Billboard Music Awards Instagram page. The page also confirmed that many more artists will be announced soon.

The Billboard Music Awards are set to air on ABC on May 21 at 8 pm ET. The nominees for this year’s ceremony were announced last month, with EDM duo The Chainsmokers leading the pack with 23 nominations. Drake is following closely behind with 22 nominations, whilst Twenty One Pilots have 17.
